Shatha A. Al-Baadi is the Manager of the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Division in Human Resources (HR) at Saudi Aramco. She has been with Aramco for nearly 15 years, beginning her career in 2009 as a policy analyst. Before joining D&I, she led the Integration Office in Community Services. This office is responsible for the community service center and communication functions, digital and facility management transformation strategies, and the
Community Services control center which oversees operation analytics and is the emergency response hub for the Dhahran community.
As the Manager of D&I, she directs the company’s strategic objectives toward creating an inclusive workplace environment where every employee feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talents. She leads the execution of D&I initiatives, collaborates with senior leadership to integrate D&I goals and principles into the business, overseeing training and workshops to promote awareness and understanding of D&I among employees, analyzing metrics to assess progress toward D&I KPIs, engaging with Aramco affiliates on D&I issues, and partnering with external organizations to advance D&I efforts and share best practices. Her role has a broad and critical reach, working closely with all areas of HR, all business and service lines in the company.
Al-Baadi holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management Information Systems from King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Texas A&M University in the United States. She has also completed prestigious executive development programs including Harvard University’s Leadership Program.
