Ms. Yousra Kindi holds a Master’s degree in Science and began my career with six years at the Ministry of Health hospitals before transitioning to the oil and gas sector, dedicating the past 12 years to Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). With a diverse experience in HSE, health promotion, and well-being, I bring a unique blend of expertise and dedication to my role as the HSE Lead for Behavior-Based Safety (BBS). Certified as a Lean BBS Internal Consultant, I specialize in driving safety excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This includes providing strategic guidance, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring operational effectiveness to promote safer work environments to workforce exceeding 70,000 employees and contractors. We are also spearheading the transition toward Human Performance Improvement (HPI), which integrates BBS principles with human factors and organizational dynamics. This advanced approach addresses systemic challenges, mitigates human error, and enhances resilience, paving the way for a forward-thinking, sustainable safety culture within our organization.
