Mr. Magdal Al Khaldi holds a Bachelor in Fire and Safety Engineering from Eastern Kentucky University. He has also gained numerous qualifications and certifications from prestigious institutions such as Columbia Business School, NFPA, and GLOMACS.
With over 23 years of progressive experience in the field of Safety, Security, and Crisis Management, Magdal has made significant contributions to the mining and petrochemical industries. He began his career with SABIC, where he worked in Safety, Security, and Emergency Services across various Affiliates and Functions until 2012. Following this, he joined Ma’aden Aluminium Company in a Safety Leadership Role and was later promoted to Vice President of Ma’aden Corporate Safety, Security, and Crisis Management.
In 2024, Magdal became a board member of Meridian Consolidated Investment Limited (MCIL).
As Vice President at Ma’aden, he oversees Safety, Security, Health, and Emergency strategies, policies, and management. He provides technical support and counsel, monitors and ensures compliance with safety requirements for both short and long-term business needs, and coordinates safety matters across Business Units and Functions, both internally and externally.
Magdal is deeply involved in strategic development to support Ma’aden’s safe operational activities and the expansion of mining sectors in Saudi Arabia and MCIL. Recognized as an authority in his field, he continues to contribute significantly to the safety and security landscape in the mining industries.
