Technical Paper
Safety Critical Controls, lessons learned and best practices for coiled tubing operations in unconventional well servicing
Safety Critical Controls, lessons learned and best practices for coiled tubing operations in unconventional well servicing. This will cover safety critical controls (BOPs, pressure control, solids control, relief systems, etc.), best practices for milling (sweeps and debris management, rig up and pressure control stack stability, optimal coiled tubing unit design, mills/motors and circulation rates, etc.) and lessons learned related to operational challenges (longer laterals, vibration, stack stability and alignment).
