Negative behaviors will affect workplace safety & health by increasing the probability of having incidents in the workplace. However, to change the mindset and turn negative behaviors into a positive and acceptable attitude requires a proper plan and a suitable method of execution.
The forklift truck (FLT) drivers’ scope is very critical, and a single failure can lead to negative consequences. Plans to enhance the behavior of FLT drivers are being introduced, through several campaigns to raise awareness and reinforce a driving safety culture among drivers. In addition, a look into the area design, capacity and operating model has been carried out and changes are being implemented to have the full training package achieve the desired results.
