Presentation Abstract:

The presentation will provide an overview of Saudi Aramco’s Emergency Management Program with and emphasis on pre-incident planning. The development of pre-incident plans will be discussed in detail as well as their application in emergency exercises and emergencies. Data collected from emergency exercise critiques will also be illustrated with an explanation on how the Emergency Management Taskforce and Emergency Preparedness Coordinators use the data to dive improved readiness.

Presenter Bio:

Tony is a Loss Prevention Engineer who works in LP’s Technical Services Unit. He has been with the company for 12 years. He has worked extensively assisting proponents develop and implement their emergency preparedness program. He started his career at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in the US and then worked for 10 years at Los Alamos Nation Laboratory, the home of the Manhattan Project, before coming to Aramco. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Master’s in Industrial Hygiene and also earned an MBA at the University of New Mexico. Tony is a certified industrial hygienist and a certified safety professional.
