MR. Bader Al-Qadran
Mr Bader Al-Qadran joined Saudi Aramco in 1975 as a Trainee in Dhahran ITC and then moved to Safaniyah Onshore as Gas Operator before attending Texas State Technical Institute between 1982 and 1983. He received an Associate’s degree in Instrumentation from there and graduated from Northern Arizona University, USA, with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1986.

Since that time, he has shown an on-going commitment to personal and professional learning, having completed over a dozen leadership and managerial courses, including participation in senior-level programs such as the “Executive Influence Program”, the “Economics of Oil Program”, the “Asia Business and Culture Program” and “Saudi Aramco Leadership in Washington, USA”. He also completed Executive Education Study at the London Business School.

His career progressed steadily through Engineering and Plant Operations, as follows:
• Achieved his first supervisory assignment in 1991 as a commissioning lead for the largest Zuluf AM crude desalting facilities constructed under BI-10-8140 to process 1,200 MBCD of Zuluf AM crude.
• In 1992 – 1997 he was assigned as Operations and Maintenance Superintendent overseeing various onshore and offshore producing Operations and Maintenance divisions in Safaniyah and Tanajib, and later, in 1997 he covered Shedgum oil producing operations Division.
• Appointed as Manager of Seawater Injection Department in 1999, and as a Manager of the Central Ghawar Producing department.
• Acted as a Manager for Pipelines Projects Department in 2002.

• Assigned as the Manager of Shedgum Gas Plant in 2003.
• Acted as Executive Director for Southern Area Gas Operations in 2005.
• Assigned as Manager, Hawiyah Gas Plant in 2006-2007.
• Acted as Executive Director for Marketing Supply and Joint Venture Coordination in 2008.
• Led Oil Supply Planning Dept. (OSPAS) in 2007-2009.
• Assigned as the General Manager of Industrial Security in mid-2009 and served in several acting assignments as Executive Director of Safety and Industrial Security.
• Assigned as General Manager of Southern Area Producing in June 2011, where he also served on acting assignments for the Vice President of Southern Area Oil Operations.
• In 2013 he was appointed as a member for the Board of Trustees for the development and construction of the National Industrial Training Institute (NITI). Assigned as the Executive Director of Safety and Industrial Security in 2015, where he also takes the role of Secretary to the Saudi Aramco Corporate Health, Safety, Security and Environment Committee.
• Roles outside of Aramco also includes Managing Director of Bolanter Corporation and Senior Regional Vice President of ASIS International.

Mr Al-Qadran led committees shaping best-practices and fairness at Saudi Aramco, including publishing a SAOO and SAGO manual entitled, Best Practices in Promoting Fairness and Integrity.
Outside of the office, Mr Al-Qadran enjoys reading, swimming and travelling.
