Alawi Isa is a seasoned Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional with over two decades of extensive experience. Currently serving as the Regional EHS Manager at Guardian Industries, Alawi leads the implementation of the company’s EHS vision, policies, and programs across the Africa, Middle East, and Asia. His role focuses on ensuring compliance with EHS regulations in an effective and cost-efficient manner and developing a cadre of EHS professionals with leadership attributes to advance the EHS culture within the organization.

In addition to his progressive roles in Environmental, Health & Safety at leading organizations, Alawi has been a dedicated Health & Safety Trainer on a freelance basis since 2013, delivering specialized training for leading institutes, including professional certifications such as CIEH, NEBOSH, and IOSH.

Alawi holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bahrain. He also has an impressive array of certifications, including NEBOSH International Diploma, ISO 14001 & 45001 Lead Auditor & Lean Six Sigma, among others.
