Technical Paper
New Generation of Surface Well Testing Technologies to reduce hazardous risks and minimize the environmental impact
The paper outlines two initiatives aimed at safely conducting well testing and flowback operations with minimal environmental impact. First, an automation initiative is introduced to eliminate the need for manual adjustments of flow and separator parameters. Second, a zero-flaring solution is proposed to enable well flowback without flaring. The presentation will conclude with case studies from the fields.
