Ranjana Mehta is the Grainger Institute of Engineering Professor and Director of the Neuroergonomics Lab in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin Madison. She is a leading expert in neuroergonomics, the study of brain and behavior at work, and her current human factors research program focuses on mixed human-machine teaming in high-risk environments, such as emergency response and energy sectors. She is currently leading a Gulf of Mexico research project developing technology-enabled decision support tool to bridge the gaps between occupational fatigue and safety culture for effective fatigue management in offshore workers.
