Introduction:

This comprehensive learning program covers all aspects of developing, implementing and measuring positive health and safety culture in the workplace. It is designed to increase your knowledge and improve your skills relating to health and safety culture. You’ll begin by learning the skills required to lead a safety effort in your workplace. Then you’ll learn how to apply these leadership skills to get employees enthusiastically involved in identifying and correcting safety issues. You’ll then be introduced to the tools that you need to measure your progress in creating a positive safety culture. Lastly, you will learn how to identify new strategies for further improving your safety efforts.

Who Should Attend?

This course is intended for a business owner, manager, or employee with responsibility for implementing safety initiatives, but may have limited safety and/or training experience.

 

Course Methodology

The learning methodology uses a mixture of presentations, discussion, case studies, video content and interactive exercises to transform participant knowledge into hands-on practice in a safe environment.

 

Certification:

After successfull completion of the course and passing the assessment, candidates will receive an accredited ASSP Measuring Safety Culture certificate with Credit CEU 1.2
