Introduction

This course is designed to prepare individuals for the Comprehensive Examination leading to certification as a CSP. The workshop covers the four areas of the exam: engineering, management, information management and communications and professional conduct and ethics. Your preparation will include lectures, sample problems, and discussions on a variety of subjects to prepare the student for the exam.

Examination

This exam is a part of the Certified Safety Professional certification process. The CSP exam measures competency in nine domains, including advanced science and math; management systems; risk management; advanced application of key safety concepts; emergency preparedness, fire prevention and security; occupational health and ergonomics; environmental management systems; training and education and law and ethics. The computer-administered exam contains 175 questions.
